I was born in Nürnberg on 6 June 1980 and started horseback riding at the age of nine. 1990 I became pony champion of Franconia for the first time.
With the support of my parents I won the individual bronze medal at the European Pony Jumping Championships in 1996. In the same year we even managed to become European team champion!
After my ‘Abitur’ (general qualification for university entrance) I became a member of the college of physical education of the Federal Armed Forces and the German squad. It was during that time that I started to ride the first Nations Cups for Germany!
In 2004 I went to Andreas Krieg in Nordstetten, Germany for one year for advanced training where I was in charge of the presentation und development particularly of the young horses. Although I had spent a great year full of considerable successes, I decided to return home.
Since 2005 I am back home at the Himmelgarten equestrian center looking after the training, development and sales of the horses. I am presenting our horses on national and international horse show events!
Due to my numerous victories and placings I was awarded with the golden ‘Reitabzeichen’, a special German riding medal, on the occasion of the Consumenta.
In the beginning of 2010 I passed the exam as assistant instructor with main focus on riding and received the ‘Stensbeck’ tag. In order to be able to instruct in the future I will focus on the examination for the master craftsman's diploma!
